Mid Year Reboot for Your Business

Are things going just the way you’d like them to at this moment in your business? My things are now.

I want to challenge you this week to think about your business. Journal about it. Blog about it if you’d like. Does your business excite you? Is your mission and vision for your business so compelling that you want to jump out of bed in the morning to work on your next things? If not, it’s time to make some adjustments.

If you’ve been following me over the years, you will see some adjustments here. Some will be subtle tweaks.

My vision is to be a beacon of light for you in your business. I want you to be making the money you want to make, building a scaleable, business that excites you. I want you to be in control of your financial future. I want you to be to be setting goals in all areas of your life AND I want you to be achieving them.

I set goals in the following areas:

  • Spiritual
  • Family
  • Business
  • Personal development
  • Physical
  • Financial
  • Social
  • Community
  • Household

Some of the work I do in each area are just practices… daily, weekly, or as needed. Others need super big, concrete plans.

Rate your satisfaction in each of these areas on a scale of 1 to 10. Rate them 2-3 times per year. Are you improving? I hope so.

Today I was on Instagram listening to a new follower who posted a short video about her challenge with balance. I truly believe balance is a myth. What isn’t a myth though is to feel at peace and/or on track in the different areas of life. Perhaps you need to put up a few boundaries. Some examples would be when you are with family you don’t have your phone nearby for distractions… you are FULLY present and not thinking about work. This one practice will fix a lot of things.

Another way to help improve your mental state around feeling balanced is to discuss it with your family. Maybe you have a big goal you are trying to achieve. Get them on board. Set a reward that they will receive when the goal is reached. This will surely help with accountability! Maybe you push hard for a week or month and then take a family vacation… or at the very least a few days off. This is sooooo important. Mental health is so very important. You’ve got to be able to take time off and not think about your work. Be firm with your boundaries around this both with yourself and those you work with (clients included).

I hope that my message today has helped. I’d love to hear back from you about your goals and your using boundaries in your life.

Make today your day!
