Why are you doing what you are?
If you were to win the lottery and money was no longer an object, after you travel all you plan to travel and buy the things you plan to buy, what would you do with your life?
My “Heart of Business” is to be a beacon of light to women entrepreneur’s… to provide direction, to ease/eliminate financial anxiety and insecurity, to help motivate, to encourage, and to teach strategies to achieve all that they want to achieve.
No longer are excuses ok.
Fear and doubt no more.
Just think of the ripple effect this can have on society, on our communities, on our family. It gives me goosebumps. It makes me VERY energized.
I’ve had fear and doubt. I’ve had financial insecurity. My path and plan is creating the life I want to have and want to live.
We’ve heard “if it’s to be then it’s up to me.”
This is so true.
Many times we just fall back to our normal patterns, delaying the true success.
Why? If you have children it’s most likely do to overwork and overwhelm. It’s the easy path to keep doing what you’ve been doing.
It is hard to push that snowball up the mountain. However, IF you keep pushing, it will get easier. You will get to the top where things will start to have momentum. But if you stop pushing (especially if you’ve had a back slide) it takes soooo much more effort to get going again.
Maybe part of the reason success seems so far off in the distant future is due to not having a clear vision of what success looks like. What does success look like in all areas of your life?

What would make you feel successful in the following areas of your life?
- Spiritual life
- Family life
- Career
- Personal development
- Physical
- Financial
- Social life
- Community
- Household (ie things you want to have/look like)
Until you identify what success looks like for you … you won’t know if you hit it or not.
To wrap things up…
Your heart of business, your reason for being in business, what you are offering to the world is important.
Work on crafting your message
Work on it a bit every day. Get help if needed. If done right, it will light passion and fire under you like no other. It will help you keep pushing that snowball up the mountain when the going gets tough or you have slips… and you will! We are human and life sometimes throws us curveballs.
Identify your definitions of success and THEN you can work out a plan to get there.
Take the time today to work on this. This is your future we are talking about. This is your family’s future too. You deserve it. They deserve it!
